Tea and Scones Vermont

About

You’re viewing the blog of Jerry Nielsen. I am one of the founders and proprietors of Rose Arbour Tea Room, Fine Gifts, and Bed & Breakfast in Chester, VT.

My wife, my two daughters, and I created Rose Arbour over 15 years ago in a beautiful 1890 Victorian home in Chester, and we have been serving delicious teas and luncheons under the capable management of my daughters, Katharine (Katy) and Suzanne (Suzy) ever since.

We are famous for our delicious gourmet scones and full teas. Lunches in the Tea room at Rose Arbour feature savory soups, delicious salads, delectable quiches and freshly baked breads.

Our fabulous dessert teas have won rave reviews from international travel writers and tea afficionados. Rose Arbour’s traditional full Formal Afternoon Tea is a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.

Attention to every detail of your service and place setting is the hallmark of a Rose Arbour tea or lunch. Our full Formal Afternoon Tea is a genuine treat for your senses. It’s beautiful to look at and smells and tastes as delicious as it looks.

Call for a reservation and treat yourself to this very special culinary pleasure. It’s a great way to celebrate any special event in your life or the lives of your friends or family.

If you cannot come to Rose Arbour, you can still enjoy our wonderful freshly baked scones. Slick here to visit our online store where you can order them on our secure site.
